At ECG, we specialize in keeping and bringing families together.
Elisabeth Carlson is an immigration attorney who is proud to be married into the Galvez family, who immigrated from Central America. Just like her extended family knows firsthand the struggle to make a stable life in the US, she will work to help you create your own success by resolving your immigration status. She focuses on family based immigration (family green cards) and deportation defense. Consultations offered by appointment only in person, Zoom or phone.

Elisabeth Carlson is an experienced immigration attorney who speaks Spanish and has effectively helped bring and keep countless families together. She has been working as an attorney since 2009 and was a senior associate at the firm of Kempster, Corcoran Quiceno & Lenz-Calvo, Ltd. before starting ECG Immigration LLC in March 2022. She has been an invited panel member at conferences, an adjunct professor at Northwestern University School of Law, and is a recognized as a Super Lawyer.
Elisabeth is active in American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and believes in supporting her community. She has worked with local organizations such as the Catholic Archdiocese (Pastoral Migratoria) and Mexican Consulate to provide free immigration consultations at group events.
